Training
Each student will be fully integrated in their respective laboratories and will receive specific training in the lab, required to perform their research. In addition, all graduate students at the University of Vienna are obliged to obtain additional qualifications (to the extend of 30 ECTS points; see table and details below).
After admittance to the program, the students will set up a PhD committee consisting of the PhD supervisor and at least 2 additional faculty members. The students will report once a year about the progress of their project. The committee has an advisory and mentoring function.
Students of the program have to adhere to the outlined seminars, lectures and workshops. See the Course Outline page for more information.
